Minimum Accommodation Accessibility Standard’s

Minimum accessibility criteria for my 60 second reviews as seen on Instagram and Facebook.   

I’ve created my 60 second reviews as an easy way to share real time accessibility information through social media. 

It is important to note that although these are my absolute minimum accessibility requirements, they do not necessarily indicate an easy, comfortable and inclusive stay.

My minimum accessibility standards for accommodation are :  

• Spaces that allow access for my 680mm wide and 1350mm long power wheelchair. 

• Entrance to building – < 10mm lip, flat or ramped  

• Under bed clearance height >130 mm 

• Frameless shower base at least 1 m² Area 

• 2 x single beds  

• 1000mm clearance to one side of my bed 

• Doorway > 750mm  

• Willing and supportive owners and staff !!
