SUMMARY

This nearly century old California Bungalow styled former home has been beautifully converted into a modern, accessible restaurant. The key historic elements have been cleverly retained such as the stained-glass windows and fireplace which have integrated perfectly with completely flush wide entrances, room for a wheelchair to navigate and an accessible bathroom.

Kelly and staff have proven their flexibility and drive and have adapted courageously as the fallout from Covid restrictions is playing out. The bungalow is a thriving, humming hub where everyone is welcome, the tables are great to get a wheelchair under and the coffee and chai are delish.

ACCESS TO VENUE | PARKING:

There is parking in front on high Street and limited parking on Eversley St

There was dedicated accessible parking around the corner in Palmerston Street.

• A large excessive all bathroom with wide doorway

WHAT’S AROUND:

• Lake Lorne – a lovely place to stroll/roll while enjoying the many breeds of swans, ducks and other water inhabitants

• QTrain – although this is not wheelchair accessible works
